★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Schitterend natuurgebied. In alle seizoenen prachtig. Het Groene Strand in de buurt, hoge zeeduinen, prachtige natuur en dieren. Echt een schitterend natuurgebied. En als je uitgewandeld bent kun je proberen een plekje te bemachtigen op het terras van de Walvis.
Beautiful nature reserve. Beautiful in all seasons. The Green Beach nearby, high sea dunes, beautiful nature and animals. Truly a beautiful nature reserve. And when you've finished walking, you can try to get a spot on the terrace of the Whale.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In 1974 oefende de luchtmacht nog met het afwerpen van proefbommen op de Noordsvaarder. Op mooie zomerdagen hoorde je de straaljagers de hele dag gieren en brullen. Ook het geroffel van geschut was duidelijk hoorbaar. Op zondag werd er niet geoefend en liepen wij over het strand. Overal lag de munitie. Zie zwart wit foto's.
In 1974 the Air Force still practiced throwing test bombs on the Noordsvaarder. On beautiful summer days you heard the fighter jets yelling and roaring all day long. The pounding of artillery was clearly audible. On Sunday there was not practiced and we walked on the beach. Throughout the ammunition was. See black and white photos.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ein Traum von einem Strand, Natur pur und selbst an einem Sonntagnachmittag Anfang August fast menschenleer. Der Sandstrand ist zum Teil fast 300 Meter breit. Muscheln ohne Ende zu entdecken und für die Kinder zu sammeln.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Strandwandeling van West aan Zee naar het puntje van de zandplaat. Totaal zo'n 15 kilometer heen en terug. Prachtige wandeling into the great wide open. Veel vogels en zeehonden op de zandplaat. Let op dat de zandplaat alleen bij laag tij betreden kan worden.
Beach walk from West aan Zee to the tip of the sandbar. In total about 15 kilometers there and back. Beautiful walk into the great wide open. Lots of birds and seals on the sandbar. Please note that the sandbank can only be entered at low tide.
