S	Sascha Haffmanns on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great experience. Service: 100 points. Everybody is nice and relaxed. You can feel good atmosphere here. Food: Perfect combination of spices, seasoning and choice of ingredients. We had 3 courses and got some appetizers before. I am not a fan of unsweetened orange flavour but the orangebutter just worked perfectly with the sourdough bread. Always a good sign if the cook knows how to create something that you like, even if you're normally not that into it. Price: Sure, you don't pay 20 bucks for your food. But you neither get industrial food made for NPCs. We paid around 80€ for two 3 course menus and only drank water. In my opinion this is the exact right price, because everything was great and the food quality is high. All in all, I will recommend this restaurant as the highlight of my Amsterdam trip when it comes to eating. [No photos, because you have to go there and make the experience by yourself.]

The set up is nice and cozy, not too big so give a perfect intimate feeling. - Food : We went for the 5 courses menu with wine pairing, and ….. every new dish was a great surprise and delicious. Everything is really well done, sophisticated and just supperrrrrrr good. - The Staff : The staff is really friendly and always here for you. They manage to be discret and present at the same time. Good job ! Highly recommended for an experience and for a great food tasting. Definitely will go back again !

Wine was brought to the table and asked to taste while we were still drinking beer. Water bottle was never replaced for the entire three hour meal. These things really left a bit of a neglectful feeling which was a let down. Food was very impressive in parts, but on the five course menu two consecutive fish dishes were fairly similar. Would say four is a better choice. Im not normally one to write more negative comments, but for this price for a set menu you expect a certain level - I really wanted it to be great, but overall the experience just didn’t the mark. Aware this contrasts most other reviews, but bottom line is that I’ve been way more impressed elsewhere in Amsterdam for this cost and don’t feel like I wasn’t offered something new. Could be sharper all round!

Quality of 'normal' we found a little better, although vega option was more than oke, especially the carrot dish .... wines in abundance from the glass. Top ingredients, lot's of flavour in dishes .... this is a real treat and one to put on your list. Total menu price ... below what you would expect from this quality .... 5 stars (i rearly give) I'll be back. Loved it.
