Mijn moeder is hier voor een bril geweest en ze hadden geen geduld voor haar, hebben haar onvriendelijk bejegend en een belachelijk montuur aangesmeerd. Erg jammer dat ze geen extra tijd en moeite investeren in klanten die verbaal wat minder sterk zijn. Zelf heb ik hier in het verleden ook een bril aangeschaft en kreeg er dagelijks hoofdpijn van. Na een second opinion bij oogwereld Ritchi, waar ze ook minstens drie keer zoveel tijd aan een oogmeting besteden. Bleek dat mijn bril veel te sterk was voor mijn ogen. Hierop bij hun een bril aangeschaft en mijn hoofdpijnklachten zijn afgenomen tot enkele dagen in de maand. Ik zou zeggen, bezuinig niet op je ogen en ga naar een zaak waar ze echt met passie, kennis en ervaring alle tijd en energie die nodig is investeren om jou aan een goede bril te helpen.
My mother has been here for glasses and they had no patience for her, treated her unkindly and put on a ridiculous frame. It is a great pity that they do not invest any extra time and effort in customers who are verbally less strong. I myself also bought glasses here in the past and I got headaches every day. After a second opinion at eye world Ritchi, where they also spend at least three times as much time on an eye measurement. It turned out that my glasses were too strong for my eyes. They bought a pair of glasses for this and my headache complaints were reduced to a few days a month. I would say, do not economize on your eyes and go to a business where they really invest all the time and energy needed with passion, knowledge and experience to help you get a good pair of glasses.

Vandaag met mijn vrouw in de winkel geweest. Zij ging haar eerste bril uitzoeken. Door een zeer onvriendelijke medewerker "geholpen". Hij had er moeite mee dat mijn vrouw meer brillen had gepast dan 5 tot 6, zoals hij had gezegd. Door zijn m.i. ongepaste opmerkingen hadden wij het gevoel dat wij overbodig waren. Geen enkele belangsteling voor ons als klant, maar, met andere worden: "maak maar snel een keuze of vertrek". Daarna zijn wij meteen de winkel uitgegaan. Een paar straten verder, in de winkel van Eye Wish Opticiens (Spilstraat 6), hartstikke goed geholpen door een vrouwelijke medewerkster. Door haar vriendelijke en professionele houding krijg zij een 10 van ons. Wij gaan ooit meer naar Pearle.
Went to the store with my wife today. She went to pick out her first glasses. "Helped" by a very unfriendly employee. He struggled with my wife trying on more glasses than 5 to 6, as he said. In my opinion, his inappropriate comments made us feel that we were redundant. No interest whatsoever for us as a customer, but, in other words: "make a quick choice or leave". Then we immediately left the store. A few streets further, in the Eye Wish Opticians store (Spilstraat 6), very well assisted by a female employee. Due to her friendly and professional attitude she gets a 10 from us. We will go to Pearle ever again.

Terrible customer service. I went several times thinking my first bad experience was a mistake, that they were just busy and rushed. It is the closest location to me, so it was convenient to go here. But being overworked and their long hours are not the problem of the customer. Plus aside from the long waits, they didnt handle my vision needs well at all which is why they get one star. I have a strong power (high number strength) of contact lens that I cannot purchase in a pharmacy. They sold me a sample of box labeled ""not for individual sale"" for twice the amount of the last place that sold me a single lens. not only that, they sold me the wrong band. A friend showed me how to buy what I needed online, so I tried to return the expensive lens they sold me. They said that they would only refund me if I placed an order with them. At this stage, I was annoyed. When I asked for a refund, they said they could provide it. then after trying to deter the conversation to place an order, they tell me this condition for the refund. but i had already purchased my own online separately and didn't need to anymore. ethics wise, I didn't want to purchase even more contacts I didn't need for the refund, especially when they sold me a sample not for retail sale. It was such a waste of time. Take the extra time to go to another location. perhaps because of their location on the Vritjhof they feel that they can take advantage of customers because more will always come. but bad customer service will lose them more customers than anything else.

I went the last week to check my eyes and buy new glasses, and the dokter and workers were very kind and helpful. The prices are good and the service is nice. Now waiting for my glassesβ™‘β™‘β™‘β™‘β™‘. I will buy again for sure .

Severely understaffed. Could do with 2 more employees (3+2). The bald guy working today should also learn some customer service. Old man is very kind increasing the score by one star. Edit: Today a team of ladies was working there (5) and the shop ran like smooth silk. Much better today hence the score has increased to 3 stars from 2. (The young lady working since December is a super salesperson and did great)

If it was possible to provide minus 10 stars, I would have done that. Great disappointment about the so called service "oogscan". The opticians are not able to work with the eye scanner: first they were not able to connect the eye scanner to the screen, then the scanning process was very much problematic, finally they made dozens of photos of my eyes and said: wait for 2 weeks. After two weeks I just got 3 colourful pages saying literally NOTHING, except that I am recommended to do such a "oogscan" on a yearly basis to keep the track. No any explanation about my complaints, no any information of who has reviewed the photos, or in which hospital the photos have been reviewed, who made the conclusion, or basically made no any conclusion, no names, literally NOTHING. When asking, the opticians at Pearl know nothing, got no any clear answer. Such an incompetence or intentional hiding information! I got such a feeling that that thing is nothing but commercial tool to make money. If you want to know about your eyes, do not that oogscan for sure. It is just a waste of huge amount of your time, waste of 30 euro, big disappointment at the end and even more concerns about your health.
