For 17euros the portion sizes are not satisfying at all. When you call to let them know since you ordered from them before, no solution is offered, claiming nothing changed. It used to be better under previous owners!! You would get your moneys worth at least!!

Took 1 hour and 40 minutes to get food for 4 people (we only ordered one main dish each). There were 3 tables that arrived after us but received their food before we did. One table with 3 people that arrived just after us received their starters, main dish, dessert, paid and even left before we got our main dish! After 1 hour and 10 minutes we asked the waiter who said our food would be ready in 3 minutes and then just ignored our table for another 30 minutes after which our food finally arrived. When it finally arrived, the rice was cold!!! Ridiculous!!! No apologies or compensation, they told us we should be understanding because there was only one chef there. We didn’t order anything out of the ordinary that would take too long to prepare. It seems they just prioritized the tables with fewer people. Don’t go there. I would give 0 stars if possible. Not recommended.

The service was really good and there is no way I could say otherwise, customer interaction was first class. However, as a Northern Brit who is used to authentic Indian food, this place fails to deliver in every aspect, I even ordered a side of green chillies that failed to add spice to the food. I felt it necessary to tell the waiter the same when asked and got no response from the kitchen, which said lots. Suitable for the German or Dutch palate, but definitely not a British one.

The food is good the buryani was fantastic but the I miss some of the real Indian food tase like butter chicken here was sweety! Indian cuisine consists of a wide variety of regional and traditional cuisines native to the Indian subcontinent. Given the range of diversity in soil type, climate, culture, ethnic groups, and occupations, these cuisines vary substantially from each other and use locally available spices, herbs, vegetables, and fruits. Indian food is also heavily influenced by religion, in particular Hindu, and cultural choices and traditions. Also, Middle Easternand Central Asian influences have occurred on North Indian cuisine from the years of Mughal rule. Indian cuisine is still evolving, as a result of the nation's cultural interactions with other societies. Historical incidents such as foreign invasions, trade relations, and colonialism have played a role in introducing certain foods to the country. For instance, potato, a staple of the diet in some regions of India, was brought to India by the Portuguese, who also introduced chillies and breadfruit. Indian cuisine has shaped the history of international relations; the spice trade between India and Europe was the primary catalyst for Europe's Age of Discovery. Spices were bought from India and traded around Europe and Asia. Indian cuisine has influenced other cuisines across the world, especially those from Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, sub-Saharan Africa, Southeast Asia, the British Isles, Fiji, and the Caribbean. I recommend this place in Maastricht

Food is just OK but has very little to do with Indian food. Very adapted to the Dutch taste. Some of the staff was friendly, but one was unable to smile and made many mistakes. We had a nice evening but I would not go again.

Well, the food would be at least 3-4 stars. But the service evidently not. We've bin there for like 3hours and had only 2 drinks wich te second we had to ask for. Between the courses we had to wait far too long. I think the woman who works there, maybe the owner. I'm not sure, does everything she can. But the boy does not care if your thirsty or waiting for 40+min for an ice cream. I would not recommend going here. The best you can book a place in advance somewhere else in Maastricht. There is enough.
