Bonjour en welkom bij PEQU. Midden in de Amsterdamse Jordaan, gelegen aan de altijd gezellige Noordermarkt vindt u ons restaurant. Wij willen u op deze bijzondere plek graag mee nemen naar een klein stukje Frankrijk onder de Hollandse zon. In een ongedwongen sfeer kunt u bij ons, op het mooiste terras van Amsterdam genieten van een leuke mix tussen Franse klassiekers en moderne gerechten.
Wij hopen u snel te mogen ontvangen.
Mind your P's and Q's
Onze naam verwijst naar Mind your P’s and Q’s, een Engelse uitdrukking die zoveel betekent als ‘be on your best behaviour’ of in het Nederlands: zet je beste beentje voor. Dit is onze filosofie. Bij PEQU zetten we ons in om de beste versie van onszelf te presenteren; in de kwaliteit van het eten, de vriendelijke bediening of gewoon een goed humeur.
Bij ons kan je de hele dag terecht voor een goede kop koffie of een lekker glas wijn. Onze vaste kaart biedt de hele dag door uiteenlopende gerechten om heerlijk van te snoepen. Ben je meer op zoek naar een lunch, dan hebben we ook een kaart met specifieke gerechten voor de dag.
In de avond bieden we je de mogelijkheid om samen te dineren met ieder een gerecht voor zich, of natuurlijk een van onze tafelvullende gerechten om te delen. Wij hopen dat je het naar je zin hebt bij ons en zien je graag terug met vrienden, partner of gewoon lekker alleen.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is my favorite spot if i am at the Farmer's market on Saturdays. All though the owner is changed and the name is now Pequ, im coming here for the spot. Have not eaten anything yet, just had a warm chocolate milk with cream. They do gave me the real "thing" i mean the real chocolate, which it would be smelting it by itself in the glass...well a bit with my help though.6

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dinner with a friend - the staff were helpful and jovial. While the menu did not seem to impress, the way the food was prepared was outstanding - way above expectations. We had an interesting mushroom creme brule, a salad, and whole sole (fish) with brown butter. The salad dressing was to die for, and the sole one of the best fish dishes I've ever had. A delicious white rioja garnacha rounded out the meal. We could not have been more pleased. Thank you!
