★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We finally got a chance to eat in at the cafe. The highs are the staff, the wine, the food, the set up, the ambiance. It felt like visiting an old friend you hadn’t seen in ages. We had high hopes and all were met!! Thank you for a great lunch/afternoon. 4th December 2021

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious food, attentive and friendly hosts, and excellent wine pairings for each course. We had the 3-course set menu of the day for €40pp which felt like good value considering the quality.
I'd definitely come back to visit again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I tried to sit down outside as a table was empty to have a coffee and something to eat (cf the picture). The answer from the staff ‘it is a wine restaurant’ to which I asked ‘do you have coffees and deserts?’ And the answer ‘you will find better place around’.
I am on holidays so I did not argue but I asked myself it was plain ‘racism’ or just a lack of professionalism.
I will suggest not to come to this place as their service will probably in line with the quality at all levels. And she was right … you can find better alternatives with a great service!
Avoid this place!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A small restaurant in the heart of town, with 8 terrace places in front. They have a small menu but with some nice dishes, so we tried them all. Very good and attending staff, good menu at excellent taste, well priced. A 'hidden' gem in Amsterdam. Loved it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We loved the ambiance and the food. The servers were really helpful and friendly and the somelier was spot on with the wine recommendations!! The icing on the cake was the chocolate tart with the blood oranges. Needless to say our experience was amazing!!

Small capacity so recommend needing to book far in advance.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff. A set 3 or 4 course surprise menu and extensive wine list of french wines.
Food was delicious!! Everything cooked perfectly.
Only negative was the Service was very slow, took 2 hrs to get to the main course.
