Ik weet zeker dat je niet teleur wordt gesteld. Maar het 'comes at a price' zoals de Engelsen zouden zeggen, maar het is het zeker waard Beautiful setting in this historic passage and great/delicious food. Highly recommended and I would just do it. I'm sure you won't be disappointed. But it 'comes at a price' as the English would say, but it is well worth it

De comfortabel moderne inrichting nodigt uit om ontspannen te genieten van de eerlijke, goed uitgebalanceerde gerechten. Dit is een adres waar we zeker terugkomen komen. Very good food here. Here is someone at work with a heart for his work. The comfortably modern furnishings invite you to relax and enjoy the honest, well-balanced dishes. What a delicious New Year's Eve home menu. Good and clear cooking directions, everything was delicious. We felt like a little chef. Recommended.

Tijdens een aperitief op het terras hebben wij fijn kunnen kletsen met de chef die zijn Big Green Egg op stoom bracht. Daarna namen wij plaats aan de keukenbar waar wij mee konden kijken met de kunsten van de koks. Al snel waren mijn collega’s en ik het met elkaar eens dat wij ons wilde laten verrassen door de keukenbrigade. Dat is gelukt. Hoogtepunt van de 4 gangen was toch wel de rokerige Fiorentina steak. Die smelt op je tong. Porta Sud we gaan elkaar opnieuw zien!? Porta Sud is great. Very nice and friendly atmosphere. Not only because of the interior, but also the service. During an aperitif on the terrace we had a nice chat with the chef who steamed his Big Green Egg. Then we took a seat at the kitchen bar where we could watch the arts of the chefs. Soon my colleagues and I agreed that we wanted to be surprised by the kitchen brigade. That worked out. The highlight of the 4 courses was the smoky Fiorentina steak. It melts on your tongue. Porta Sud we are going to see each other again! ?

Wij kozen voor het 5-gangen menu (hartig), met de 4-begeleide (DOC of DOCG) wijnen en namen apart een dessert. De keukenploeg alsook de bediening met de verkregen uitleg bij de gerechten, dit tesamen met de (female) sommelier en de foodpairing, waren ronduit schitterend en uitmuntend ! BRAVO !!! Porta Sud is Awesome!!! Coming from Belgium, we regularly go on a culinary treasure hunt, well this is one of those that does not disappoint, on the contrary! We opted for the 5-course menu (savoury), with the 4-accompanied (DOC or DOCG) wines and had a dessert separately. The kitchen team as well as the service with the explanations obtained for the dishes, together with the (female) sommelier and the food pairing, were simply beautiful and excellent! BRAVO!!!
