Met letterpress, blinddruk en/of hotfoil maak je eenvoudig een luxe kaart met inwaarts reliëf (enkelzijdig of dubbelzijdig). Bij letterpress kun je één of twee PMS-kleuren gebruiken en bij hotfoil staan er 12 kleuropties voor je klaar. Wél reliëf, maar zonder kleur? Kies dan voor blinddruk. Tenslotte kunnen luxe kaarten afgewerkt worden met een gekleurde rand waarbij je kunt kiezen uit 18 kleuren.

I though - "well, I’ve never printed a postcard myself, so maybe there is some sort of a template that they have in print shops, apart from a printer, which I also don’t have”
To be sure, found a shop that had written on the website that postcards indeed can be done there - Postmasters - went there.
First thing - I was pointed at a computer and told to do all the job myself.
Well, I’ve used Microsoft and can send a picture to a printer myself, but what about the template?
Turned out there was no template.
However, I was reassured that they could hire a designer for me who could make it!
Right.
Sitting down, open a browser window, googling “postcard template” and choosing one of the first images to print on the back of my photos - that much of a designer’s work.
Trying out.
In between there were 2 misprints, because the settings of a printer have been changed by someone else.
Result: ridiculously expensive despite doing all the job myself, paper too thin and I wasn’t offered any alternatives and at the end they even made me pay for the misprints.
