★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our experience with "rent a bike" in the Zeilstraat was okay. It was a little chaotic when we went there to pick our bikes up, as we just stood aroung for 15 minutes and no one asked for what we needed. The bikes were okay, but there was one lock missing and the bikes were generally in a average condition.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Out of the 3 bikes we hired, only one worked properly. 1 bike was completely useless as the petal literally kept falling off, while the gears of the 2nd bike kept rattling whenever I tried pedalling. We ended up walking in the rain to our destination and leaving the bikes locked up. Upon returning the bikes, I told the shopkeeper this and he legit couldn’t care less. I asked him if we still had to pay for the broken bike that we couldn’t ride, cause ya know it didn’t work n he was like ‘you should have brought it back’ so yeh wouldn’t recommend going here ;)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bike was good quality with easy lock. Experience with the attendant was bad he is rude made things unnecessarily difficult and gave no explanations. Had a request before hiring and he had no issue and said could accommodate. Didn’t take card so needed to withdraw. Once I got back he wasn’t able to comply with previously agreed request. To drop the bike back I “had to have my ticket” which was back at the hotel and was not explained that I needed to bring this with. After a lot of fuss his end of flicking through 3 sheets of paper he easily managed to find my licence and deposit... just pure laziness. I wouldn’t use again just based on how miserable and difficult the attendant was...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extremely childish and petty service. We were given only one chain for two bikes with the wrong key. When I called the attendant to ask if another franchise could give us a working chain (as we were quite far away) he yelled at me saying it was my fault the key didn’t work and offered no solution. When I brought the bike to him with the faulty chain he had a bunch of excuses why it wasn’t his fault wasting another half an hour of our time he eventually replaced the lock, I then asked for a chain for the other bike that he failed to supply in the beginning, he took a deep breathe and said “NO!” When I asked why he said “just no, I can’t”. After wasting more time and me explaining to him that what I payed for was a bike with a chain he finally decided to give me the chain as it was looking bad for him in front of the other customers looking on.
Today We walked a few minutes around the corner and saw another bike rental place where the service was quick and the staff were polite and respectful. Don’t waste your time and money with this childish man.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I really wish I could’ve left positive feedback. However, my experience was quite the opposite. Two stars are for the bike which worked fine. Customer service though felt like fighting. Won't go back to this place again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Decent and honest person. Took my bike to fix the gears but he noticed that they weren't working because the cable was stuck so just fixed it, adjusted my seat so it rides better and didn't even charge me. Will be back next time I need help with my bike.
