β β β β β I love Ethiopean food and it's been difficult to find a place who provides the authentic experience. De Smaak van Afrika is a great option for anyone looking for a taste explosion. We ordered the Feast Platter and boy was that a lot of food!! We ate until we couldn't anymore. There was plenty of leftovers. Each side was very interesting! Definitely recommend this place! It's a cute and cosy!

β β β β β The food is amazing and tastes so good! I've been to a few African restaurants and I never liked it. Decided to give it another go with this one and now I can't wait to go there again! The ginger beer was tasty, but on the small side. The dishes themselves are a good size

β β β β β Food is amazing. If you never had Ethiopian food, well it's the best. No arguments needed. If you go here, go with a group of 4/5 and drop a 20 each. You will be guaranteed a flavourgasm like never before.

β β β β β Great food, a lot of vegan options. We had the vegetarian platter for 2 which is actually vegan. It was delicious. The lentil spicy soup was also great.

β β β β β Great interior and service. The food was very delicious, served interestingly and seemed to be cooked according to traditions. Given the fact I had never tried African food before, I was impressed even more.

We had a feast meal with Enjara, and the food was so good. Different dishes of sweet and spicy that mixed very well with the enjara bread that has a tinge of sour to it ??
The staff was very kind and took good care of us. The interior is beautifully decorated with colour and painted motifs.

β β β β β Normally I post a review when I'm still at the place, but this time I can't. The food was sooooo good and I was sooooo full, I had to wait until home for the review. The place is full of interesting decorations, you just can't get bored. The music, the interior design, the service, the food, the people.... All just amazing and unforgettable. Everything is very well detailed and you can see the precision work in the hand-made fournitures. I'd highly recommend it!
