Found them after a twelve hour flight delay, Foodhallen stalls were closing down or unappealing, but the staff at Himalayan kitchen dropped curry and momos on us as they closed down the restaurant. Then they sent us home with fresh momos for breakfast the next day. Great food, great atmosphere, great service. 10/10 would momo again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We've spent time in both Nepal and India, eaten many Dahl Bhats and Thalis and we thoroughly enjoyed the Thali here! One of the best we've had- Full of flavour and spices, hot but not too hot, creamy not too heavy. Would recommend.

After we ordered we immediately received some complimentary papadums and already the sauces tasted amazing so I knew it was gonna be a good meal. We ordered the himalayan soup, a curry and momo's and some peshwari naan bread. All the food was absolutely amazing and full of flavour. The staff was super friendly too and the food is actually quite cheap! I'd definitely recommended this place to anyone looking for a great meal :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Discovering the Himalayan Kitchen food truck on Ten Katestraat was the best thing to happen to me during Covid-19.
Their chicken kathi roll is SO DAMN GOOD. Ask for the extra spicy chicken, it’s so delicious. I don’t know where they get their tortillas, but it’s so soft and tasty. I haven’t had tortillas in Amsterdam like this, it’s the right amount of thickness to support the freshly chopped veggie fillings.
I crave their chicken kathi roll on a daily basis. I promise you won’t regret it.
Can’t wait for restaurants to open so I can dine in and try all of their delicious dishes !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The service is fast and friendly, the portions are huge (the veg chowmein could have easily fed 2 or 3 people), and the taste is authentic (especially the chicken momos - you get ten fat ones per order). The spice was on the blander side but the momos tasted just like they do in Kathmandu. They also have khukri beer (made in the UK).
