Sorry, no pictures - we ate it all too fast!! :D We were guided through the evening on the seasonal food and had this great fish that came with a nice story at its side, an Aubergine dish to die for, and lots more… Last but not least, we couldn’t decide which dessert - hence the owner took care of the choice and we got a good selection of awesome treats! I would love to pick a favorite to recommend - but I don’t want to be unfair to the others that were just equally yummy. ;) Thanks so much for hosting us in a very welcoming atmosphere. We will be back soon!

C	Claudia Tang on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was missing food from HK and Google recommended me Hotspot Central -- it was a lovely place with clean and elegant interior design. The service was absolutely 10/10, they were kind and friendly. My phone was running out of battery and they kindly charged my phone for me and even lent me a charger so that I could use my phone at the table (for work). There was also free Wi-Fi , allowing me to send a few emails while waiting for the food, which didn't take long at all too! Food-wise, I tried the stir-fried beef hor fun, spicy chili wanton and bubble tea. The first dish was delicious, albeit a bit too oily for me. Chili wanton was slightly disappointing as it was not spicy at all but with the majority of Asian restaurants overseas, they are diluted and suited to Dutch taste preferences. It was still yummy. Unfortunately, the bubble tea was absolutely disgusting. I was so excited when I saw the option, as they even named it after a famous bubble tea chain in HK. However, the tea was extremely sweet (from someone who usually takes 100% bubble tea) and the pearls were totally wrong. They were not chewy at all, was just mushy when you bite into it and the whole drink was just not okay. I forced myself to drink a few mouths but had to discard the whole drink away.. what a shame. Overall, I still liked the restaurant and would go back again to try other foods, when I'm craving for HK foods again. I also recommend this place :-) just not the bubble tea!!!

(Just pick anything on the menu, I bet you will love it!!) The place is clean and cozy. The hosts are very hospitable. Five stars!
K	Kristina Vilcina on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a gem! Every dish that came out was better than the other! This will be the only place you will want to eat in Leiden. Or ever to be honest. I still dream about that aubergine dish, that perfectly seasoned lamb, and the fish that basically took its last “breath” on the plate, it was that fresh! The staff was super lovely and accommodating! You feel very welcome :) My only recommendation is to open another restaurant in Amsterdam so I can eat there more often!

Surprisingly Hotspot had quite some tables available and since the moment we entered to the place the staff was super friendly and the service also nice. There is a lot of variety of food and they also had a special edition of a beer I like. One of my favourite restaurants in Leiden so far.
