De bevlogenheid van chef-kok emiel over zijn gerechten en de sommelier over de wijnen, het maakte dat de avond voorbij vloog!
 Wow what an experience eating here. Thoroughly enjoyed all dishes and wines. I wonder when the first star will follow!
Chef emiel's enthusiasm for his dishes and the sommelier for the wines made the evening fly by!

Fantastic food and the flavors combination is perfect. The wines are also delicious and, of course, match the dishes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been living in Enschede for more than 3 years now, and as a good foodie I tried almost every restaurant, fast food joint or eetcafé in the city. What Enschede missed is a proper fine dining experience but now that gap has been filled thanks to JoAnn. I won't review the service or atmosphere right now, being my first dine out in months and being this such a weird time for the horeca due to the Covid19 pandemic. Even in this difficult times me and my girlfriend, there to celebrate my birthday, had a wonderful evening. The team was caring and professional, plus they accommodated easily our requests. The wine cart is simply the best in the city, for a similiar one you would have to drive to hengelo or de lutte and that would be drink and driving! So jokes aside we were very happy about what we could drink at JoAnn. Now about the food, the real star of the restaurant, I have to admit that I was really surprised by the menu since I had expected something absolutely less daring. In my opinion it embraces perfectly the culture of the Netherlands and especially of Enschede, where different cultures like the Turkish, the Libanese and the Thai live together in armony with the Dutch one. Price is in line with other restaurants of the same category. Will be back for sure!
