Mejuffrouw Janssen is een bourgondisch restaurant speciaal voor de echte levensgenieters. Ons restaurant is op 2 september 2014 opnieuw geopend onder leiding van een nieuwe eigenaar. Het restaurant is grotendeels opgeknapt, maar toch is de sfeer van vroeger er nog volop te vinden. Alle gerechten op onze menukaart worden bereid met verse, ambachtelijke producten. Wij schenken exclusieve dranken, zoals Bockbier, Swinckels van de tap en Royal Dutch Espresso. Ook hebben wij een divers assortiment aan heerlijke wijnen voor u beschikbaar. U kiest bij ons uit vele wijnsoorten uit verschillende streken. Ook voor diverse arrangementen zoals de WijnSpijs Wandeling bent u bij ons aan het juiste adres. Dit alles met een gezellige sfeer en voor een gemoedelijke prijs!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A small but cozy restaurant. It's quite busy so things took time. Food were fine and tasty. Steaks were perfectly cooked. The only thing I found it weird that they dont put prices on the beer menu and waiters also didn't know how much for them. The answer was "oh no worries it will not be more than €10 per glass"... Ah.. Ok...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to have dinner here with a girlfriend of mine and my very young son (3 months) the place was lively with good music and a lot of happy guests, who were extremely understanding of my crying son. The service is impeccable, everyone spoke English, although I did try to practice my Dutch! The waiters were kind and attentive. And now, the food- absolutely delicious! I had scallops as a starter which was succulent and my friend had the tuna, which I tried and it was amazing- much better than I had anticipated! Then I ordered the tournedos as a main, which at first came overcooked (I ordered it red) and when I told the waiter he didn’t even think twice- he took my plate and my friends (she ordered the salmon) and said “let us make it fresh for you, our apologies”… and they brought us two new plates and extra fries, and needless to say the food was really amazing! Top notch restaurant***** I definitely highly recommend this place and I am really looking forward to going back to try some other plates… also! Prices are really fair! For the quality they serve they could definitely charge more (and I wouldn’t be mad about it) go quickly, reserve a table!
