About Restaurant Zuyd
Restaurant Zuyd opende op 6 oktober 2009 haar deuren en is eigendom van het ondernemerspaar Stefan Dirkx en Wendy Dirkx-Michielsen. Zuyd is gevestigd aan de Ginnekenweg in Breda Zuid. Deze mooie winkelstraat met luxueuze winkels vormt de verbinding tussen het gezellige Ginneken en het centrum van Breda. De straat wordt ook wel de PC Hooftstraat van Breda genoemd. Het restaurant is modern klassiek ingericht en biedt plaats aan ca. 40 personen. De 8 meter lange zilveren bank is een echte eyecatcher. In de zomermaanden is er op het terras ruimte voor 32 personen.
In de semi-open keuken verwerkt Stefan Dirkx samen met de keukenbrigade de dagverse ingrediënten tot creatieve en verfijnde gerechten. Stefan heeft zijn ruime ervaring opgedaan bij diverse (sterren-)zaken door het land. Zijn stijl van koken is in de basis Frans, maar ziet veel wereldse invloeden. Van de amuse tot de friandise bij de koffie; alles is huisgemaakt en bijzonder gepresenteerd. De menukaart bestaat uit een verrassingsmenu in 4-7 gangen welke u nog kunt aanvullen met diverse specials of een wijnarrangement.
Het team van gastvrouwen en gastheren onder leiding van Wendy zal zorgen voor een ongedwongen en ontspannen sfeer zodat u kunt genieten van een heerlijke lunch of culinaire avond uit….uiteraard bij Restaurant Zuyd!

The chefs of Zuyd use any allergies or intolerance to make an original dish to let you enjoy as much as the others in your party. This opposed to other restaurants where they simply remove items taking away from the experience.
