Bought a sofa in November, after 5 months it’s still not delivered nor refunded. Riviera Maison’s HORRIBLE consumer support have us calling them every one week without any support or news. Please give us our money back!

We had the creepiest and most disturbing experience. While looking for some home decoration me and my partner checked out the 1st floor and then decided to go up to the 2nd. While coming up we saw two old ladies eating and drinking at one of the exhibition tables. No matter how odd the situation we didn’t mind, but at some point one of the ladies stood up and started to follow us around the store for next 10min, constantly asking, yelling and talking in dutch. We looked around and saw 3 of the store stuff who just didn’t do anything at all, they kinda just stood there and smiled nicely. As soon as we could get past that lady, we run down and out of that store.

Terrible service, consumeristic mindset: I placed an important order online for a business gift at 19:30, as everywhere on their website they promised a next day delivery for orders placed before 20:00. Not only they did not send me an order verification email, when I contacted their online customer service the next day they said my order would be delayed and I would have more information when the package will be picked up. I asked for either a faster shipment or a reimbursement of the shipping costs, they refused both. They even said it’s not possible, because there was a warning banner about order delays on their website. I kept telling them there was no such warning anywhere, only their guarantee of next day delivery on every corner of their website. The service agent blamed me for not seeiing the banner continuously. Even after I sent them a screenshot of their webpage and check out page proving there was no such warning, only the next delivery guarantee, they denied accepting the truth and made me look crazy “we are sorry that you didn’t see the banner...”!! Long story short, they contacted me again refusing to cover the shipping costs of my order. They offered only a voucher for the shipping costs for a next order, only to Make me order again from their store and make again more profit! Neither the company nor the agent apologized for their unacceptable behavior, they only said “we are sorry YOU have experienced...” as if it all lies on me. And most importantly they refuse to stay true to their guarantee and compensate for neglecting my rights as a purchaser. I am still waiting for a reimbursement and have escalated the case on the European ODR platform... Riviera Maison’s whole mindset just shows how profit and consumerism is in the center of this company’s culture and how little they care about their customers and their rights.

Been a month, still waiting on my refund for half of my order for Christmas ornaments that was sold out prior to shipping. After chasing a rep called Geena who told me a refund will be processed after telling me the item was sole out, no response. Last time I’ll be purchasing from them. Avoid like the plague.

(Updated post) I have already visited your store and phoned them with no action so unfortunately your reply to contact the store is less than helpful. Your team has a full communication trail (including photos) via your "contact us" email starting from 30/08. I suggest YOU kindly respond to our queries. I have also now escalated this to the NL Authority for Consumers and Markets. (Initial post) Our cabinet arrived with some damage, we reached out to the “contact us” email (as per store staff members recommendation) fast forward to one month later and still Riviera maison has done nothing to fix it. The latest from them “it’s with our repair team” who we have not heard from. Keep your money and avoid the stress. Stay well away from this brand and their low quality products.

Riviera maison, UNSUSTAINABLE PRODUCTS unpleasant experience. I bought this sumer this table cloth 150cm length, I went to this shop cause seemed to me that was a responsible business at least, with their customers...No at all. I clean the cloth following the instruction on 30 °c(I clean it by hand)and became 10 cm smaller Wow!! I called hoping to get a solution, anything... The mistake was mine, I was told. Yes I own it now, I clean it. Problem is, I follow #RivieraMaison's instructions. Its Sad to see that, quite expensive business take no responsibility and sell out products that are NOT mean to LAST! Irresponsible with the environment, with their customers... Until when it will be allowed to PLAY like this with us that trust a business name and trust our purchase is worthy? IS HARD TO GET 1 STEP FORWARD FOR THE ENVIRONMENT WHEN BUSINESS SEND US BACK 5!
