★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A shadow of its former self. Definitely do not approach this restaurant for take-out—they will leave you waiting in the cold for ages, while service is prioritised for Deliveroo and UberEats. I was given burnt chicken pieces, soggy fries, and some unbelievably tasteless cole slaw.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I made my reservation on their website and I got a confirmation by email. But for my surprise, once I got there, I was informed that there was no table reserved for me. Bad luck.
Food is ok. Overrated. 1/2 chicken was a bit dry. Onion rings were extremely greasy. Fries looked like leftover (tiny cuts). Chicken wings look like they were boiled. Expensive beer.
Service is sooooo slow even when there were not many customers in the house.
I've always wanted to try this one which is in my neighbourhood but unfortunately it was very disappointing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As a big fan of smash burgers, I’ve been searching for my personal hamburger holy grail in Amsterdam. I recently stumbled across Rotisserie East and it’s since become my mecca.
The King Royale is the go-to burger. Melt in your mouth succulent beef and perfectly cooked with a tinge of pink throughout the patty. Simple yet executed perfectly. The fries are really good too, but I prefer to go for the rotisserie potatoes as a side.
I’ve heard this place also does really good chicken. I’ll be sure to try it one day when I get over my smash burger addiction. Service is also great - consistently friendly and helpful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered two burgers and one fries on Uber Eats. Specifically asked for rare burgers but received only one burger that was way way over cooked. We ordered extra ketchup and received spicy sauce instead. On top of that, everything arrived luke warm. The restaurant only refunded one burger but to be honest, we expected the entire order’s worth back because we didn’t get what we paid for. We called the place and they didn’t even offer to send back the whole order again. We had to order somewhere else.
To be avoided.
