β β β β β We asked the lady at the information desk how to get from Rotterdam to The Hague - should we take the train or metro, how long each would take, how much each would cost, etc. The only piece of info should could offer was that the train would cost β¬6.20.
We then asked her would locals normally do and she couldn't say. She couldn't even tell us whether the metro goes all the way to The Hague. I would think these are pretty basic questions for a tourist information office within a metro/train station...
