Aan de Utrechtse Nieuwegracht bevindt zich Rubens Proeflokaal. Hier komt men om te genieten van heerlijke en bijzondere wijnen in een gezellige ambiance. Daarnaast schenken wij Brand pils, port, Hollands gedistilleerd, diverse whisky’s mousserende wijnen.

Bij Rubens proeft u niet alleen de lekkerste dranken, wij vertellen u ook wát u drinkt. Het barpersoneel heeft kennis van de dranken die geschonken worden en vertelt u hierover graag meer. Hetzelfde geldt voor de bites die bij de borrel genuttigd kunnen worden. Een kaasplankje, worstenplateau of een ander verrassend alternatief voor de extra smaaksensatie, het kan allemaal!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great hist, amazing wines and best selection of fine spirits that I know of, for such a small cozy place at the edge of city center. Rubens knowledge of his products is excellent and he can advise you of something new to drink. Cognac, whiskey, rum, gin, calvados, armagnac, wine and finger food. Highly recommended! Bring a few friends and the place is yours. Two tables, a bar and a great hist is really all that you need.

My boyfriend and I regularly stop here after a walk around the city. Nice selection of gins and port, away from the noisy city.
