Good quality coffee and tea and a nice location, but there are only snails that have crawled into the cafe straight from the botanical garden.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 45 minuten voor niks gewacht. Na voor 2e gaan zitten, pas na 30 minuten een kaart ontvangen en na nog eens 15 minuten eindelijk te kunnen bestellen, gaat de keuken opeens dicht. Dit had echt wel eerder verteld kunnen worden, bedankt voor de verspilling van mijn tid. Het was geen eens druk. 1/5
45 minutes for nothing. After sitting down for 2nd, receiving a card after 30 minutes and finally being able to order another 15 minutes, the kitchen suddenly closes. This really could have been told earlier, thanks for the waste of my tid. It wasn't even busy. 1/5

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Prachtige locatie in de Oude Hortus, met in de zomermaanden een erg fijn terras met uitzicht op de kassen, bomen en planten. Het menu is eenvoudig maar goed van kwaliteit. Bediening is redelijk attent, al zijn ze wel iets minder alert als het rustig is. Er is ook een leestafel en interactieve schermen met informatie over de Hortus. Nadeel: alleen bereikbaar als je een toegangskaartje voor het museum hebt.
Beautiful location in the Oude Hortus, with a very nice terrace in the summer months with a view of the greenhouses, trees and plants. The menu is simple but of good quality. Service is reasonably attentive, although they are a little less alert when it is quiet. There is also a reading table and interactive screens with information about the Hortus. Disadvantage: only accessible if you have an entrance ticket to the museum.

Kaart is prima maar niet heel bijzonder.
Nice location at the Oude Hortus and the university museum. With a little sun you can sit outside.
Card is fine but not very special.

There is a little bar offering snacks and drinks. Very calm and surrounded by nature and nice old buildings.
A good place to have a break.
