Interesting experience to eat the 7 course menu with the story behind it. The food tastes good and they also have wine pairing. It's another level of Mexican food. I like it!!!

An amazing extensive dinner with wine pairing. The staff is knowledgable and friendly. Surprising and amazing flavor combinations with a story behind it.

¡Exquisito! After 3 attempts we finally made it! ?? It may sound exaggerated, but it's true! Chef Alberto has managed to grow and spread an urban legend tgat today accounts for a fully-booked itinerary that leaves many like me on a waiting list -sometimes for longer than a month! Now the burning question is: was it worthy? You bet! @Ruiseñor_DenHaag doesn't have a menu, so you are bound to the creativity of the Chef on that particular night. My husband isn't a particular fan pf tortillas in general, but Ruiseñor's menu changed his mind completely ❤ This time the theme was: Opera. We were supposed to have 7 courses, but the Chef was so impressed with tge quality of the ingredients he got from his local vendors that decided to split it in 8 courses. The highlight for me was at the very end where we got, what I consider the very best piece of lamb I have ever eaten -it was tender, full of flavour and combined with rather unusual ingredients (a mixture that resembles mole but it's not ?) and of course dessert! We got an emulsion of dulce de leche on a bed of tortilla churros with raspberries. Simply A.MA.ZING ? I started drooling just by the thought of it. NB: if you are on a tight budget but want to give it a go, then you must skip the wine arrangement. The rest is worth trying, at least once.

Thanks for not cancelling my reservation, now at a closed door at 8 PM. Edit: as visible on attached screenshot no e-mail was sent, nor is it in my spam folder. Also the official website does not mention the closure and the Google listing was not adjusted.

Excellent experience! They were super hospitable (even let us crash in the restaurant 30 minutes before opening, as it was pouring outside). The tall waitress is very talented and professional. She was a perfect host, great story-teller and an educated server. The other girl was first very shy and less talkative, made some very basic mistakes while serving the food (giving meal first to my husband, putting upside down the chopsticks, not recommending pairing of wine just pouring an other half glass of the previous). But at the end of the dinner she came out of her shell and managed to proof my first impression wrong. Very lovely ladies! The chef himself also served a dish for us. Nice guy! I felt so ashamed asking for no pork, and ended up with him serving my special course, he was super chill about it! Other tables ordered vegetarian, gluten free, lactose free and they delivered all! Music, ambiance perfect! Especially when the chef was singing along! We stayed at our table for about 4 hours (including the 30 minutes wait for opening); believe me, it flew away! Highly recommend it! P.S.: my husband was asking: "why this place does not have a Michelin star?"

What an amazing place! There's a little story with every dish and cards about the dish so you can remember what you had. The wine arrangements are royal to say the least and the choice of a contrasting and harmonious wine for every course is a nice touch. The tequila selection is small, but good and I'll definitely come back again! Great food, staff and atmosphere

One of the best dining experience I've had in the past few years. The food is not just excellent, is clearly thought out, it's unexpected, it's daring, and perfectly paired with a choice of appropriate wines. The Hague is very lucky to have this restaurant!

Food is outstanding. Service is well above average. The location is good. The concept of the restaurant is genuine and quite fresh in the ocean of Dutch restaurants. The multi course menu varied nicely and mixed many different ingredients. Well done. I am aware that it is a fine dining place, but i think it is still a bit overpriced. Hence the 4 star.
