★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a great morning with my mom yesterday at saint-jean. We both had our own croffin and a chai latte. I recommend the pistachio as well as the raspberry cheesecake flavour. Such beautiful vegan pastry with incredible taste. We actually managed to grab a seat and relax. The atmosphere is very good, mainly due to the friendly and relaxed staff. I was happily surprised about the whole experience. Will come back soon to get treats for my birthday.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So delicious, soft and perfectly round for the eye. We tried the pistachio and the hazelnut praline cruffins and they were yummy and with a creamy filling. So soft, but not too sweet. We will recommend this Café to friends going to Amsterdam. Thanks for the friendly service!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After seeing continuous queues at saint-jean when going for a walk on the wetermarkt, decided to finally stop by and try their danish cakes. Service and quality are to main factors on the industry of food. And I guess that a lot of places are open just to make money without thinking about quality. First of all the service is extremely slow. You see more then 4 employees inside that instead of having oriented work you see more then one person doing the same task for just one client. And if you order drinks with food is even more confusing the service. In terms of quality I asked specifically if the pastries had a fill and the employee told me that they were completely full of cream inside. I trusted and took 2 pastries home for the ridiculous price of 9.50€ and when arrived home got really disappointed. The save on the filling and put a little sample for the taste inside. prefer to buy simple donuts on the supermarket that are cheaper and the taste is the same.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Once you try the pastries, you will be coming for more. I bought its famous already cruffins (pistachio & almond) and pain au chocolate. They were beyond amazing. Imagine that they are vegan. Also selection of coffee (with plant based milk) is great.
The atmosphere here is relaxed and laid back. Stuff very friendly.
