★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ever since I've started working in Utrecht I sometimes stop by the Salsashop as it's one of my favorite places to eat back in Amsterdam and Rotterdam. The burritos (or tacos or bowls) are made right in front of you and theres plenty of choice, including the spicyness of the sauce.
I also really appreciate the little sink at the restaurant after wrestling down a big burrito so you can wash your hands.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The servers are EXTREMELY STINGY with toppings and probably give you an empty burrito if they had it their way. The salsa tastes like churned up tomatoes and the lemonade is a joke!. Also dont bother spending the extra on guacamole that they dont mention charging extra for while making your burritos! What a waste of money. The smokey tomato salsa had NO smokiness. Also my stomach did not feel good after seeing their beans in murky water.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overall, as a Mexican food lover I was very disappointed with the food here. We ordered tacos, mini burritos, quesadilla, and chips and salsa. The tacos and burritos were completely cold, which I found to be extremely strange, since the quesadilla and chips were still very much warm. Plus the flavor of the burritos and tacos was very much lacking. The quesadilla was actually pretty good, but too small for the price. Don’t think I’ll be going there again, unfortunately. Unless something changes, fingers crossed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really good Burritos check out the pulled pork with whatever toppings you get and if you like hot sauce get the fiery yellow Harbanero it’s hot ? and so dam tasty, staff are very friendly spotlessly clean would highly recommend ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious food! Specially the carnitas tacos. Friendly staff, very clean and the most important: this is a place where the mexicans love to go (I am one of them). Enjoy your meals with a fresh cucumber mint lemonade.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sorry, but are you kidding me with the portions you deliver for these prices? I'm happy to pay a bit more during harsh times, but I do expect my stomach to be filled. This was a joke. This is just a simple toasted sandwich (and small burrito), and a tasteless one for that matter. You can't ask those prices for this.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time trying Salsa Shop. Very mediocre and lacks flavor. My bowl was only half filled, so I was still hungry afterwards. There was barely any meat (I picked carnitas) and it was a bit dry. Wouldn't recommend.
