★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have scheduled a blood donation one month in advance. Received many Emails confirming my appointment. Did the Corona check, donation check... Everything! For my surprise, the place was closed in the time scheduled. I waited for 20 minutes and nobody appeared. After wait long time in the phone, I was informed that it was a mistake of their system, that actually the time I scheduled shouldn't be available because the place is closed at this time. Such a lack of organization! How in earth no one could see that there was someone appointment in a wrong time and couldn't communicate me in advance? In received almost 10 Emails from Sanquin before the donation day. How hard would be call or send an email saying it was a mistake? So, learning of the day: completely disorganized and unrealiabke blood bank. Sad that it is the only option to blood donation in the Netherlands! Makes me feel that is quite dangerous concentrate the entire blood bank of the country in such a disorganized organization.
