Voor de rest wordt je goed geholpen en ze leggen bij elke stap uit wat ze doen. Als je vragen hebt zijn ze ook bereid je te helpen! Ik vond het eerst 'eng' om bloed te doneren, maar na deze ervaring zie ik het als iets moois en als iets goeds doen. Het zeer vriendelijke personeel doet er altijd samen met de vrijwilligers alles aan om de afname zelf zo goed mogelijk te laten verlopen. Ik kom hier graag en hoop nog heel lang bloedplaatjes (Trombocyten) te mogen geven als vrijwillige donor. Ik wil een beetje reclame maken ook. Iedereen die gezond is en een paar keer per jaar een uurtje kan missen zou hier of bij een andere vestiging naar binnen moeten lopen. Meld je eens aan, en laat vrijblijvend onderzoeken of je geschikt bent als donor. Het is vrijwillig dus altijd zonder enige dwang. Ik vind het zelf een heel erg nuttige activiteit, mede ook door de waardering die het personeel geeft tijdens en na de donaties. En dan heb ik het nog niet eens over de zieke patiënten die het product krijgen... I have been giving blood platelets to this Sanquin location for a long time (more than 100x now). Genoeg (gratis) parkeerplek buiten voor fiets en auto, prima bereikbaar. Well organized and pleasant interaction with each other. Comfortable seats and always something to eat and drink during or after your plasma or blood donation. Enough (free) parking space outside for bicycle and car, easily accessible.
