★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Zoals de naam al aangeeft, gaat het hier om een Schnellbootbunker (SBB) gelegen in de haven van IJmuiden. Een grotere bunker als deze, zal men zo gauw niet vinden in Nederland. De Kriegsmarine gebruikte de SBB "B" om Schnellboten te onderhouden en te beladen met mijnen en torpedo's. Het bouwen van de Schnellboten werd op de werf gedaan.

De Schnellbootbunker is tegenwoordig in gebruik als mineralenopslag en is daarom niet publiek toegankelijk.

 As the name indicates, this is a Schnellbootbunker (SBB) located in the harbor of IJmuiden. A larger bunker like this one will not be found in the Netherlands so quickly. The Kriegsmarine used the SBB "B" to maintain and load Schnell boats with mines and torpedoes. The construction of the Schnell boats was done at the yard.

The Schnellbootbunker is now used as a mineral storage and is therefore not accessible to the public.
