The ‘Edge of Government’ at the World Government Summit, Is an annual exhibition format that challenges visitors, often public officials and key governmental decision makers to think in new and counter-intuitive ways about how to solve the most pressing public challenges of our time.
Similar to the 2019 exhibition, we created the theme and storyline, visual identity and art direction for the overall experience and spatial design, as well as the individual case exhibits presented.
For this edition, we created the storyline around the theme, ‘You Are Light’, to create an exhibition experience from where the visitor becomes ‘enlightened’ with the latest innovations and ideas based around government policy making. From the entrance corridor, the visitor goes on a journey, entering a series of rooms that increase in brightness—via an interactive light show experience created by the light artist collective Squidsoup—as they journeyed through the exhibition.
