β β β β β I don't give this grade lightly or often but this place is terrible. Staff is loud and rude to customers, food handling is suspicious at best. Floor and tables are filthy, seagulls are eating next to you out of the trashcans. I was glad the food was deepfried, less chance of bacteria... for the same type of food you better walk 100m down the street to Roeleveld. Better quality and hygiene.

β β β β β Here you can find the best shrimps, cod fish, kibbeling, and other types of sea foods in the Hague. The portion sizes really worth the prices. This restaurant is 3 to 5 mins walking distance of the Scheveningen beach.

β β β β β By far our favourite Simonis branch for a quick bite. Sauce is free & you can get as many as you want from a dispenser, unlike most other places.

β β β β β Went there with a friend and the place is.very easyto find with plenty of tables in- and outside. Everyrhing is very very clean (toilets, kitchen, etc)
We tried a menu of fish filet and it comes with fries and sauerkaut. You also can get four.different sauses (mayo, coctail, etcοΌfrom a different station, all free.
The fish itself was flaky and fresh but a bit under seasoned for me. Not the best fish I've tried but its good enough.
I would recommend this place.
