★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perfect place to have a meal when you visit giethorn. A bit costly but given the location, justifies it. Location is very enjoyable. On weekends a bit crowdy, might impacy quality of service

I recommend this restaurant because it has very good food and the location is great! 5 stars from me !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good food, it's a bit pricey, probably because of the location. Nevertheless this is the right place to have some good food and enjoy some quality time with friends and family. When the weather is good it's hard to get a space to sit outside. Even inside the vibe is good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best not to eat here and just sit here for a drink and enjoy the view - a much safer option! Ordered "schnitzels" which neither looked nor tasted like any schnitzels but rather like a piece of microwaved pork cooked 3 days ago.. the meat was actually so hard that my mom managed to break her tooth while trying to chew it - no kidding (and my mom is not old)! :D Anyway, the view is nice though!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nicely located on the water, we arrived here after hiring a boat and exploring Giethoirn's waterways and lake. However the experience at Smit's Pavilion was not a great one. After ordering something that was clearly on the menu, I was told that they don't sell that. I pointed out that it was on the menu and the waiter had a good long look at it. Even then when a waitress turned up with the drinks, she brought the wrong thing...
We didn't get a "gezellig" feeling here. Probably won't visit again...
