W	Wendy on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice food, great decor. If you're having troubles with candles, dont eat in this restaurant. You're dining with candlelight. Only candlelight! Loved it, kids thought it was a great place.
M	Martin Søndergaard on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food is not in the Michelin star quality, but instead good solid medieval northern European food, with lots of meat and with different roots, potatoes and vegetables on the side. A very nice meal for a decent amount of money. But the main feature is the whole package. The medieval theme of the restaurant sets the mood perfectly and the combination of an old scarcely lighted tavern, a few chickens walking around on the floor and the fact that you have to eat without cutlery is just an experience compared to other 'normal' restaurants. Good food and lots of it, not too expensive, excellent service and an awesome atmosphere makes this restaurant a no brainer. Try it!

The first time was with a mixed group of Dutch & Russians and it was so much fun, Russians ended up singing Dutch songs. The second time with all our extended family, from grandparents to babies we enjoyed the lively atmosphere. A place we will return to again when we are in town.

Food quality was good, and the dishes we ordered were ok. When you go to a restaurant like this, you aim for the experience more than the food taste. prices were a little high compared to the food quantity, but acceptable.
