★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had the most DELICIOUS omelette here, and great service. The people were so kind and we had a great conversation. Also, great coffee and a view of the street and canal. Would totally recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went there to have a pancake with bacon and cheese. I didnt really look at the price, so I was really stunned when they delivered- it was one flat pancake, with no more than 3 small cheese slices and 3(!!!) strips of bacon! They didnt even bother to present it in any way, they were just thrown on top of the pancake . And to charge 10,95 for this atrocity is a joke! Definitely will not go there again, and I urge to not do so either. My disappointment was immeasurable, and my day was ruined.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Portion sizes were ridiculous compared to prices (talking about the English breakfast and Dutch pancakes, which we tried).
Also menu says "Pancakes" (plural), while the portion is only one.
The taste was on point tho and we did not try the burgers which others seemed to like.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First of all, I was pretty shocked by the price of the beer and we were also refused a second glass of tap water on a very hot day even though we were drinking a lot of beer at the same time. The beers themselves were only 2/3 filled and you had a good 5-6cm of foam on top, for this price I would call that stealing. Then, cherry on the top, the owner was very rude to us when we paid. Wouldn’t recommend at all. I gave 2 stars because the waiting was ok.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The waiters were nice, but the owner/manager appeared not at all customer friendly and very keen on earning a buck from us. Steep (touristy) prices. A pint of beer was stingily poured with loads of foam to squeeze every drop out of us. Want the tourist experience, go here. Otherwise, wouldn't recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unless you really needed a place to stop by... I would not recommend.
So the bitterballen (croquettes made with meat and cheese) was actually pretty good.
Outside seating was decent since you get to see the canal and boats. Prices were high. Even my hotel served wine cheaper by the glads. Waitress missed one of our orders but we let that go since we didn’t really want it anyway. I do want to say the waitresses were friendly.
What was most irritating is when we went to pay inside, we were told if we want to add a tip for service...we can but need to let them know. This is not customary and no one else anywhere we’ve gone asked for this. I will never return.
I recommend you skip this place.
