★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst experience we had in our travels. We were 2 and ordered 2 glasses of wine, an entree and an appetizer. We were told that we had to order a minimum of of 1 entree per person. We needed up paying for the wine and leaving. Have never heard of a policy like this ever. If you do have ridiculous policies put it on the menu. Avoid!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Top notch service, and amazing food. Careful though, it can get a bit spicy. The seating fills up very quickly so make sure to make a reservation if you're planning on eating on a busy evening. Also they have really cute napkin dispensers!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to this restaurant with my husband without a reservation earlier this week. I'm not sure if that's why we were treated poorly, but we waited a very long time to be served, and when we were, the server did not allow us to order an appetizer and a main dish. He would not leave the table until we understood that we needed to order two main dishes. We were also clearly less important than the other clients until we ordered enough. We won't go back, as we can find better service and Indonesian food elsewhere in Leiden.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time eating out in Leiden wij the family. The food was excellent you can order your classic Indonesian food. We had a rijsttafel for 5 people. There was plenty of food and choice for all of us and we were even offered some refills. The rendang reminded me of the time I spent on Bali. I would recommend this restaurant 10/10 for the food and service. Though i would liked to have had a bit more space inside, the restaurant felt a bit crowded though this might have been a more personal opinion. All in all i would come here again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very authentic and cozy place with a friendly staff; however, poor service and mediocre food. We waited 5 minutes before asking for the menu ourselves, then we had to wait around 40 minutes for a single dish, part of which was forgotten for a moment, and we had to remind them about it. The dish itself appeared to be quite tasteless. Hence, beautiful and cozy, but for nice food opt for a different Indonesian restaurant in Leiden.
