β β β β β Great Indonesian take out spot! Very flavorful meat and veggie dishes in huge portions. There is great variety and although the meat dishes are incredible, you can also choose amazing vegetarian options and not miss out on anything. The service is also super friendly and the atmosphere is very nice if you want to sit down and eat there. My partner's mom always comes here when she visits, saying it is the most authentic Indonesian Toko she has ever been to in the Netherlands. She is Singaporean who lived 8 years in Bali so take that as you will.

β β β β β Very tasty food and lot of options to choose from. Do try jackfruit without a miss, non spicy food to spicy food options available. Good quantity in one meal and for me one meal goes for two time but totally depends on your appetite. Staff is very welcoming and always wear a smile while taking your order
Seating place is only available for 4-6 people max but they give a very good packing options as well so try and enjoy ?

β β β β β I used to have a shiny 5 star review here, this place made among the best meals I ever had (and enjoyed regularly). Unfortunately the quality took quite a hit since the new ownership a couple of months ago. The nasi kuning and spicy nasi used to be spectaculair but now its dull. Hope to be able to revert back to 5 stars in the future

β β β β β Got takeout from Bungamas, which usually is my favorite toko in Leiden. Noticed a new logo, new menu, and a delivery bike out front that had the name of a different toko. I guess ownership has changed because the food was a total disappointment. The nasi was flavorless, the sate sauce tasted like it came from the supermarket, and you get less food but pay more for it. A sad meal, also to realize that the best is gone. Will go to Ibu Tjilik from now on.

β β β β β This was truly the best Indonesian (Padang style) food that I have eaten in Holland. Unfortunately, the elderly couple who owned this place and cooked the food decided that it was time to retire sometime during the pandemic. The food quality under new ownership has gone down and the selection of dishes reduced. It still is not bad and about averagely decent for Indonesian food in Holland but it certainly is not the superb food that it used to be. The photos below are still from the original shop and from my original 5 star rating. I kept them in as a reminder of what it was when it still was exquisite.

β β β β β Great and tasty dishes for a good price. Must say it's my most favourite Indonesian restaurant. If you want an explosion of flavoursome bite in your mouth get the rice table with fried rice. You get to choose 7 different vegetables and 4 meats.
The meal was savoured by 2 people. It took us 2 days to finish it. We did have to cook our own white rice the second day. The fried rice is enough for 1 day.

β β β β β This is very sad. It was the best toko in Leiden, but things have really changed. The quality of the food is far away from being the best (the jackfruit that I got with my rijstafel was sour, for example). Besides the size of the portions has been dramatically reduced, but the price now is more elevated. A dish for two is no longer enough for two ?. Hopefully they will consider that people is complaining a lot.

β β β β β Dissappointing. Called at 5.30 for delivery at 7. The conversation was annoying; i wanted to order separately, they adviced to order nasi rames dish 'otherwise they would have to weigh'. Also not familiar with the prices their menu shows as the lady didnt know bami was sold for 6 euro. Anyway, took their advice and ordered bami rames. Delivery was half an hour late (how can that be when ordering at 5.30), guy had the wrong house number, and then i get nasi instead of bami. How?? Called the lady to complain, the excuse was that it was very busy. Next time i would get free bami, i told her there wont be a next time. Not impressed.
