The system is smart but unfortunately the waitresses were kind of rude. Unfortunately she got annoyed with us when we didn't understand her explanation of the lunch menu the first time. She served the wrong drinks and also didn't check up on us after that. The ordered food was just quickly put on the table without a word. Food itself 5 Stars, but the service was not very good.

Sushi, salads, desserts, soups, squid ect. and you can choose anything you want. The food obviously doesn't come in full portions, but its great because you can have a bit of everything. If I will ever be in Amsterdam again, I will definately come again.

Use of a tablet to order food is a nice touch and means you don't have to keep grabbing the attention of staff. While there are limits placed on how much you order in one go, time between orders and how many orders you can do total we got no where near maxing out how much food we could get, too full! Very pleased!

Food came out promptly and empty dishes were picked up quickly. Staff was polite and answered any questions we had. Would have liked more options on said menu, but overall a pleasant experience ?

Good Sushi and tasty warm dishes I used to go to Sumo quite often when it just Openen in 2010 and did not go anymore as the "quality" or flavours were not as good anymore. As I went spontaneously, Sumo has surprised me in a good way! Good for group, celebration, casual and romantic/casual diners. All my taste buds were just jumping from happiness! Below some highlights. I am not gonna review every dish as all was good. Unagi Nigiri Very tasy and perfect size. Not the easiest nigiri to prepare, so good points for that! Maguro Nigiri & Tuna Gunkan Tuna did not had any flavour. it was tasteless cold tuna Ebi & Wakame Temaki An unusual way of rolling Temaki. But easier to eat. No disappointments in flavours and taste here Grilles Salmon Well Grilled and lots of flavour Miso Aubergine I love Aubergine and in combination with Miso is the best. Sweets - Fried Banana & Mixed Fruit Individually nice to eat. But here is a tip, Combine them and you have a great dessert!
