β β β β β I loved this place! This brugwachterhuisje is superNICE ! 360View on the canals, hip design interiour, supercomfy bed and an awesome location: in the city center but in a local neighbourhood with lots of hip bars and cafes just around the corner (westerpark is my fave!) and def go the the breakfastclub for breaky. YAM! Hotel comfort, but a real local, urban experience.

β β β β β #304 - Kattensloopbrug - was a great spot to explore our visit visit to Amsterdam. Very walkable to many destinations in Jordaan, the canal bands and beyond, but the tram outside your door makes it even easier to go further. It can be a little noisy with traffic - but being able to stay in these unique bridge houses is all worth it. Definitely recommend.

β β β β β My fiance and I stayed in SWEETS hotel Kattenslootbrug for New Year's Eve to ring in 2020. This bridge house was absolutely amazing. Cute and quaint. It seemed bigger in person than the photos do it justice. So many amenities provided in this little home and a very convenient tablet to reference for anything you're unsure of (locking and unlocking the safe, using the bluetooth speaker, or using the coffee machine). If you're traveling from America make sure to buy an adapter for the outlet as the outlets here are different and there is not a converter inside the house. Location was good. Walking distance to markets, restaurants and bars. There is a tiny tai takeaway restaurant called Pie-Nong Thai within 200 feet from the bridge house and the food was AMAZING. We spent time at a local pub, Checkpoint Charlie's, also within 200 feet of the house, and found staff and locals to be so friendly and welcoming. Overall, we felt safe in the bridge house however we did have an incident on New Year's Eve where a man attempted to follow me and enter our bridge house. I wouldn't recommend staying here alone as a female as anyone can view and see that you're staying in this little bridge house. I think New Year's Eve in Amsterdam is the absolute explanation for this craziness because every other night we had no issues at all and felt completely safe. The neighborhood was quiet even. Jordaan is a beautiful suburb in Amsterdam. Very charming and romantic. We spent nights strolling the streets to find families having dinner and kids playing in the streets. SWEETS hotel staff were extremely attentive to anything we may have needed and were immediately available via email or phone. They even have someone stop by to replenish towels and amenities on the second night of the stay. We would definitely return to this bridge house.

β β β β β We absolutely loved our stay at Sweets hotel. The location is perfect for wandering the neighborhood. The house was bigger than I imagined and never felt too cramped. The check in/out process was quick and easy. It was a once in a lifetime type hotel and I'd highly recommend it.

β β β β β Unique & fun.
I had the best stay, the place has everything you would need.
I liked the surrounding area, and was easy to get to places with the public transportation you have just a minute away.
It lovely to wake up with the ducks and bird outside.
If you have more than 2 nights i would suggest try 2 there.
Also, must mention although it's not quite during the day cause of the tram passing by. But it didn't bother me at all and i couldn't hear it in the night, i slept like a baby during my entire stay.
Thanks so much for the experience ?

β β β β β Amazing experience to sleep at the heart of Amsterdam. Being able to look out of the window and see all the boots passing by was awesome! Next to that all the logistics were organized well, easy to open the door with my phone and also the room had everything I needed, from a superb shower to a great bed. I also really liked the little details like a personal welcome note. If you're looking for an experience hotel this is your place!!!

β β β β β Unique hotel. Excellent location away from the city-centre crowds. Plenty of charming cafes and bars nearby. The house itself was very well equipped with lots of nice extras. Few things to be aware of - it can get a little loud with trams and when the bridge opens...but for us that was part of the experience.

β β β β β My wife and I had a most wonderful stay at the Kattenslootbrug location. We have known this brugwachtershuisje for over 30 years, since we lived close after leaving university.....
Now we finally had the chance to take a trip down memory lane, spend the night and have a look inside. It was even nicer than expected: enough space, a great view, nice bed and everything. We do not understand the complaints of other guests about not having a tv set. Who wants to watch tv when you are staying next to a lively area like the Jordaan?
Yes, we did hear the trams crossing the bridge, but that made it extra cosy...
We will definitely be back in one of the other 28 'rooms'!
