Al vele jaren serveert Steakhouse La Vaca typisch Zuid-Amerikaanse gerechten vanuit de authentieke Argentijnse keuken. Het restaurant is gelegen aan het Thorbeckeplein, naast het wereldberoemde Rembrandtplein, in de binnenstad van Amsterdam.
De culinaire hoogstandjes bestaan uit onder andere: gemarineerde spareribs, mals ossenhaas en kruidig gegrilde kip. La Vaca biedt niet alleen uitstekende vleesgerechten maar echte aanraders zijn ook de verschillende visgerechten en vele soorten Tapas.
Voeg daarbij Argentijnse specialiteiten als Quilmes bier, Argentijnse likeuren en cognac, begeleidende fraaie wijnen uit o.a. de wijnstreek Mendoza en een smaakvol assortiment aan dessert en uw avond zal meer dan geslaagd zijn.
La Vaca heeft plaats voor circa 60 personen in het restaurant en heeft daarnaast een buitenterras voor circa 40 personen.
Het personeel staat graag voor u klaar en heeft service hoog in het vaandel staan. Reserveren is over het algemeen niet nodig maar wanneer u met grote groepen vanaf 10 personen komt, zeker in het weekend, dan is een reservering wel raadzaam. Het telefoonnummer is: 020-6253999.

The patty was not home made, it looked a frozen cheap patty, and the bread was dry, and in case of the panqueque de espinaca it was frozen in the middle.
It was really expensive and not recommendable at all.

Stumbled upon La Vaca Steakhouse and were shown such great hospitality despite them nearing their closing time. Staff were really kind and the food was hella delicious. Thanks again for the awesome service.

We didnt get the food at the same time, the waiter forgot one in the company so she receieved her food much later, and no apologize. The Octopus was raw. The steaks didnt end up as we ordered them. When i ordered medium they were extremely well done and dry. When one of us ordered medium became she a raw piece of meat with burned layer outside, the meat was not cooked at all. A blueisch colour. When we told the waiter that we werent pleased, he started to argue, the chef aswell. We leaved without eating our food.
