★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a beautiful pet store with high end products, many of which I had not yet found in Amsterdam. The owners were extremely nice, patient, and helpful, despite my lack of any Dutch. I bought two harnesses and came back the next day with my puppy to check the fit of one. They adjusted it themselves, and offered a full refund if I still wasn’t sure. Among much good advice, they also recommended better food for my picky puppy and gave me a full sized bag of it to try out at home, and so far it’s a huge success (I did spend a decent amount, but felt this was very generous!).
This place was worth the visit and I will be back soon. Strongly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The sales lady apparently prioritizes her sales KPI over the truth, do not go if you have limited knowledge because you will be fooled by the sales.
- I got recommended Treats Cans, which does not have sufficient nutrients for kittens as full meal cans. I learnt this only later. I would assume they are merchants of the brand Canagan, so they do everything they can to sale this brand, even though the Information they gave would mislead inexperienced cat owners.
- They also recommended catnip spray to us when we clearly said the kitten is only 8 weeks old. I learnt later that catnip is only effective to cats when they are older than 6 months.
Honestly an unpleasant shopping experience when I found out the ladies were giving wrong information for more sales.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been a happy customer for a while but Im really starting to think that this shop is not worth visiting only because of the cashier which works there. There is a women working in the shop with a very rude attitude. Its like buying your product from a human that hates you. No eye contact. No greetings. No thank you. Not offering the receipt. Not offering a bag. I have seen this same women greet and serve other dutch customers without any problem. Could it be that the skin of my colour has something to do with this? Anyways this store could use another cashier who at least would talk to people...

Today the moment I stepped into the shop, the cashier demonstrated apparent facial discontent towards me. As other reviews stated: no greetings no smile, but was extremely welcome when other customers stepped in. This cashier is blond with fringe and outstandingly tanned skin, wearing a dark malachite green jumper with a lamb skin vest on 19th Feb 2022.
The reason why I gave 2 stars instead of 1 (even 0) is for another helpful and friendly brunette pony tail lady that kindly gave me suggestions of dog toys. However I will personally not go here as long as the cashier showing favouritism to the customer, nor will I ever recommend this place to my social group.
