β β β β β Incredible stay ! The College Hotel has so much character and style it makes it hard to want to leave. Great location.
Staff are excellent and friendly - always up for a good chat.
Best of all, the amazing wines & food available down stairs! Loved it.

β β β β β Wow - they have recently introduced a new concept with Caribbean infused flavors and WOW what a flavor explosion! Fantastic and scintillating flavors, terrific sunny courtyard terrace for nice weather. The octopus and carpaccio were standouts. We will be back!

β β β β β Due to the heavy snow fall a few weeks ago in the Netherlands I wasnβt able to go home after work from Amsterdam to my home town. I called a few hotels that were closed unfortunately due to the current pandemic, and thankfully the college was open for visitors. What can I say? The experience was wonderful. It turned out that I was the only guest in the hotel and the amazing, friendly staff treated me like royalty. The room was nice and tidy and they upgraded me to a fancier room (yay). The view was marvellous especially with the snowy surroundings. I felt very welcome and whenever I have to stay in a hotel in Amsterdam ever again, I wonβt hesitate and book at the college hotel each time! Thank you lovely staff for making my stay and absolute dream.

β β β β β Traditional on the outside, sleek, modern and pampering inside. An oasis. The bar doubles as an art gallery.
And check out the cocktail names...

β β β β β 1 STAR because I was looking for a place to sleep. But due to an insane noise, it was not possible. I didn't sleep at all. I paid 150 Euro for one person (even though I negotiated after my initial booking at 120 Euro got cancelled). On a weekday. Electricity for charging phones/etc didn't work either. It was broken. Staff was okay. I spoke with a friendly women the day after, and she told me that the guy should have asked me in advance if I was a light sleeper. He didn't, but I came late to the hotel and told that all that I want was to sleep. Nothing else. This night ruined my whole 4 day trip. I am going to ask for a full refund because of the circumstances.

β β β β β Not horrible, but not great. Bathrooms are super dark and small, which maybe is just an Amsterdam thing. There was no light in the shower and just a dim light in the bathroom, so had to shower in the dark. Sink is in the cabinet with a long kitchen like faucet so it's impossible to use to brush your teeth or wash your face and hands. Carpet had multiple stains all over it. Next time I'll be looking to stay somewhere else.
