β β β β β We love the proximity of this property to everything without being remote. It's a short few block walk in any of 3 different directions to grab a tram to Centraal or anywhere else you need to go... but also VERY happy just to stay at the hotel and enjoy the refined ambiance and attentive staff. Best of everything you could want in Amsterdam!

β β β β β We had a very good room with bath looking out over the harbour. Room was clean and well equipped. Except for room/Hotel information, there was no portfolio of check out times, room service costs, bike rental etc.
What we didn't like at all, and ruined the apollo experience is the staff of the hotel. They were not paying attention, very busy with each other and walking back and forth the whole time, but not taking the time to ask the guests if they would like to have the menu, order more drinks.
I was not the only one who was annoyed by this, as more people had to call on the waiters to get something to drink.
Too bad, as the hotel itself was OK.

β β β β β Stayed during the new covid restrictions imposed by the government. I was worried that their amenities (gym/breakfast) would not be open. I was wrong! My stay at Apollo was excellent. The breakfast was still provided every single day and the lounge was open. The hotel itself is very clean and has a cool design. Not a typical cookie cutter Marriott. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Amsterdam!

β β β β β Nice hotel - good location and lovely breakfast. Room and bathroom can do with an upgrade. For the money you pay you would hope for a coffee machine and a bit more than the bare necessities, the simple bare necessities.

β β β β β Nice hotel with cozy rooms with nice views. The restaurant on the ground floor is quite good but service side is lacking. Everything has to be asked for even the menu as staff is very inattentive to its guests and do not anticipate their needs. There is also no one to welcome you to the restaurant, instead having to walk inside first ignored by waiters and of course having to ask the waiter yourself to get you a table instead of them welcoming you and taking you to the table. Other than the service in the restaurant it is a great place to stay.

β β β β β Very very friendly, attentive and proactive staff ( from a room change to candles for my birthday). Great views from the room, Bar and restaurant on the little harbor! Breakfast buffet has everything we needed + best Omelette I ate in a long time!
Rooms are nice and cozy, but in some places you can see it is not the newest location (shower, elevator). Good location to explore the city, yet easy to reach by car and good parking space!
Overall fantastic experience at a reasonable price!

β β β β β Good hotel in a great location for travelling into the city centre, enjoying more peaceful surroundings and experiencing more suburban life. Staff were very friendly and welcoming.
Tea and coffee facilities a bit lacking & not replaced daily and some of the electronics in the room didn't work.

β β β β β Charming staff. Nice rooms. Really cool bar. This is the place to stay in Amsterdam.
Location was great! Breakfast was fully stocked.
Tom at the front desk was a super cool dude that told us all about the history of the hotel being reclaimed from parts of the 1920s Olympics.
The bathtub was oversized which is a nice bonus!
Harbour club for dinner with some unique Korean fried chicken for a cool ambiance dinner.
