 Very friendly host. In the middle of the city center but very quiet. Breakfast outstanding. Highly recommended for a short trip!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We arrived by train from London, a nice easy journey. The Lastage Inn is conveniently situated a 15 minute walk or 5 minute cab ride from Central Station, in an idyllic street amongst the canals of central Amsterdam.
Matt is the most welcoming host, he and his daughter make you feel at home as soon as you arrive. The rooms are lovely, there is such care and attention to detail you feel very spoilt. I love the little surprises around the house interesting artefacts and art. The bed was so comfortable we could have slept for a week! Fine linen and a little Smeg fridge with complimentary drinks make your stay even more comfortable - a naughty packet of stroopwaffles to have with the complimentary tea and coffee in the room is also available.
Matt makes a wonderful freshly cooked breakfast with a great choice on offer. He also has yoghurt, fruit, cereal, hagelslag, toast and jam, with orange juice, tea and coffee too.
We had a fantastic weekend and look forward to another, longer visit to The Lastage Inn!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ By far the best place to stay in Amsterdam! Easy to get to from the underground, minutes away from the main train station, Nieuwmarkt & Science Museum. The host is amazing, the breakfast top notch. The house is across 5 floors (with roof garden), warm and welcoming. We had an amazing time on New Year's Eve!!!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had the absolute pleasure of staying in The Lastage Inn! An absolute gem of Amsterdam. The location is is great, the house itself is beautiful, thought out and comfortable with a lovely roof terrace as well! What really pulled everything together was the lovely Matt who was a fantastic host. He was very welcoming, and easy to be around and incredibly helpful! All in all a wicked stay!
