Toen ik vroeg of ze ook X hadden, vertelden ze dat deze helaas nog niet binnengekomen zijn en verwezen vervolgens naar een co-concurrent nabij van een andere winkel. Erg klantvriendelijk! Beautiful store with a wide variety of comic books, manga, Funko Pops and more. When I asked if they also had X, they said that unfortunately they haven't arrived yet and then referred to a co-competitor close to another store. Very customer-friendly!

En wat een verademing, een winkel gerund door vriendelijke jonge mensen die duidelijk een passie hebben voor manga en strips (in plaats van de grumpy old men die je meestal in stoffige stripwinkels tegenkomt en vastgeroest zitten in een Franka en Robbedoes periode). In deze winkel voelde ik me meteen welkom. Ik woon niet in Utrecht maar ik zal bij elk bezoek aan Utrecht ook The Splendid bezoeken. Tip voor de winkel: Zet de naam "The Splendid" op de deur, ik zocht naar de naam om op te zoeken of jullie ook een webshop hebben, maar kon de naam van de winkel niet vinden, er staat alleen "Manga en Strips" op de deur. Gelukkig heb ik jullie online vrij makkelijk toch gevonden. Manga and comics, it says on the door, and that's what they have there. A very nice shop with a very diverse range. And what a relief, a shop run by friendly young people who clearly have a passion for manga and comics (instead of the grumpy old men you usually find in dusty comic shops and stuck in a Franka and Spirou period). I immediately felt welcome in this store. I don't live in Utrecht but I will also visit The Splendid on every visit to Utrecht. Tip for the store: Put the name "The Splendid" on the door, I looked for the name to find out if you also have a webshop, but couldn't find the name of the store, it only says "Manga and Comics" on the door. Luckily I found you quite easily online.

Vond daar een stel strips over een belangrijk deel van de geschiedenis van Florence waar we net geweest waren. Nice shop with an extensive choice in a beautiful spot on the canal. Nice people with knowledge. Found a bunch of comics there about an important part of the history of Florence we had just been to.
