Dinner at Tribeca exceeded our (high) expectations. The all-vegetables menu comes highly recommended, also if you're a non-vegetarian. It's an exquisite display of how imaginative the cooking brigade is. Service was excellent, not overly formal and very attentive. All in all, a great experience!

Amazing place, what else can you expect of a two star Michel star restaurant? We dined in the kitchen - very relaxed staff, great food and what an atmosphere!

I have almost no words. What a great place the food is just amazing and with a great wine collection. The staff is very nice and helpful. We made some changes to the menu and this was no problem at all. We will back soon!

Last Friday, we had the chance to visit two-star Restaurant Tribeca in Heeze. We got here late due to bad traffic, but that wasn't a problem for the friendly team who welcomed us. Jan Sobecki took over the restaurant in 2016 and we had no idea what he had up his sleeve. We gave him "carte blanche" and oh boy, did he show us a thing or two!French cuisine is the focus of this restaurant, and the 14 courses we were served show it. Oyster & ris de veau, pigeon & chocolate, foie gras & citrus granitΓ© are just a few of the funky combinations we were served.Jan Sobecki is a master of the sauce and an expert in layering different tastes to give your taste buds an explosion of flavor you've been missing for 18 months.Tribeca is a gastronomy temple that offers exciting and refined dishes to foodies and gourmands.

A 1 star rating for a 2 star Michelin restaurant, is that right?? I thought long about writing this review YES or NO, but eventually I decided to do so. The 1 star review does not mean that the food is bad, please do not compare it with a standard restaurant. This is 1 star review for a Michelin starred restaurant. Please let me elaborate why I have given this review. In July 2021 my wife and myself booked a lunch at this restaurant. We also wanted to use the so called 'Tribeca limo service'. So we could maxime our food with pairing wines. We did not know how to book this with our table, we were visiting this restaurant the first time, so I called. There was no response, so I left a voicemail. With no response on this voicemail, I mailed. No response. Luckily the weather was great, and we decided to go by bike. We were received warmly in the restaurant and received a great place in the outside garden. The amuses we received were very nice and came to us with rapid fire, so we had to keep up. The lunch menu we choose was the 'High End Menu'. With a wine pairing and nice weather, we enjoyed our afternoon. However, the joy was shortly lived. Only a couple of hours after we came back home, the entire lunch came out: we were both sick. The night and day after no food were able to remain, and we contacted the restaurant. Maybe it was food poisoning, so we thought it to be wise to alert them . They responded swiftly and made a generous offer: we were invited to visit the restaurant again to enjoy lunch or dinner complementary of the restaurant! Although food poisoning looked excluded, they said they wanted us to 'enjoy our food for a week' instead of a couple of hours. Great service. It remained silent from Tribeca from that point on. I decided to contact the restaurant again in November. I called (to make sure we received a date) and it was confirmed for December 2021. It was withdrawn within a couple of hours. #Covid19 was the argument and I could understand they would rather have paying customers in house. So I requested the owner by phone to book a fixed date in 2022. That we both know what we could expect and when. She agreed and promised me to call back November 17th. Today it is December 2nd, and I received no response thus far. For a place that holds quality of food and service as the one true value, that is proud to be part of all international awards, I personally expected more. So to summarize: a 1 star review due to the service and contact offered before and after our visit. I would recommend to visit one of the other Michelin star rated restaurants in Noord-Brabant. For example: Wollerich, De Lindenhof, Zarzo, or 1910 in Eindhoven. The last has no Michelin star, but offers a 2 star staff, service and experience.
