M	Maria Jörg on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Durch viele negative Bewertungen waren wir von Anfang an etwas skeptisch. Uns wurde gesagt, wir sollen eine feste Uhrzeit angeben , zu der wir Anreisen. Wir waren allerdings schon deutlich früher in Amsterdam und da es keinerlei Rezeption (dazu später mehr) gab hatten wir auch nicht die Möglichkeit unsere Koffer abzulegen, was ein wenig doof war. Allem in allem waren wir aber wirklich positiv überrascht! Die Lage ist grandios! Es ist schlicht eingerichtet und handelt sich mehr um eine Wohnung, mit einzeln vermieteten Zimmern. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit zwei einzel Betten. Außer den Zimmer gab es noch ein relativ neu gemachtes Bad, eine kleine Küchenzeile und eine WAHNSINNS Dachterrasse mit Blick über die ganze Stadt! Zu Anfang hat man uns auch gefragt, ob wir in eine andere Wohnung wechseln würden (Wir kannten die Story aus anderen Bewertungen und waren wenig begeistert) schlussendlich war es wohl doch nicht nötig uns umzuquartieren. Es war sauber und alles halbwegs neu. Die vielen recht steilen Treppen lassen sich nicht leugnen, waren aber für uns kein Problem. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in Amsterdam und würden auch die Unterkunft sofort wieder besuchen! Due to the many negative reviews, we were a bit skeptical from the start. We were told to give a fixed time at which we would arrive. However, we were in Amsterdam much earlier and since there was no reception (more on that later) we didn't have the opportunity to put our suitcases down, which was a bit stupid. All in all, we were really pleasantly surprised! The location is terrific! It is simply furnished and is more of an apartment, with individually rented rooms. We had a room with two single beds. In addition to the rooms, there was a relatively new bathroom, a small kitchenette and a MAHNSINNS roof terrace with a view of the whole city! At the beginning we were also asked whether we would move to another apartment (we knew the story from other reviews and were not very enthusiastic) in the end it was probably not necessary to move. It was clean and everything was halfway new. The many quite steep stairs cannot be denied, but were not a problem for us. We had a great time in Amsterdam and would visit the property again in a heartbeat!

O	Onur Bayramoglu on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They keep you waiting in front of the door at least 1 hour. Organization is not good. But the room has a perfect location and room is nice. Owner and staff are friendly and helpful. I advise you to mention your arrival time on booking to prevent waiting in front of the door.
T	Trenton Robinson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Never got a confirmation. Emailed them. No response. Got ahold of them a month ahead of time. They said they would send a confirmation two weeks out. Never got one. Contacted them a week before we were to stay there and they finally sent a confirmation. Arrived at location, us and another family waited at least an hour outside before the owner showed up after we called him. He then said he lost all of our bookings and blamed the booking company (even though him and I have been in contact). He takes us to a new place. The place was really nice. Got a call the next morning saying we needed to move rooms because he had a group of three coming in and the room we were in had three beds and there were only two of us.
S	SJ Lee on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was the worst experience in my life. The owner of the hostel did not reply to our message and did not turn up to give us the keys for the rooms. So we had to wait for an hour in front of the building. Also when we made the reservation the owner said that the check out time is 10, but when he turned up he changed his words all of a sudden and told us to leave at 8. When we protested that he did not mention the fact that we have to leave at 8 when we booked for it, he bold facedly repied that he is telling us now. And told us to go out if we do not agree to this. The hostel was renovating when we stayed there, so it was quite untidy and was too expensive. I hope others do not experience this horrible and unpleasant hostel owner. And lastly the stairs were seriously dangerous that one could even loose life in a split second.
