R	Redstar on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Service was OK, kinda slow. If you're Dutch you get seated in the back of the restaurant where all the servers are with the best service. If you're a tourist, even with a reservation, you'll get seated near the door and you'll wait quite a while for the server. Good food but if you're not Dutch and visiting as a tourist then I'd suggest skipping van puffelen.
M	Michael Schaten on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really nice place even if you visit it with a larger group of people. We had a three courses menu and apart from the steak (too dry, therefore only four stars) everything was super tasty. Service staff is very friendly and fast. We all enjoyed staying here.

BIG disappointment, due to the personnel at the bar. Arrogant students only busy with themselves. The waiter was not taking care of this clients, but just trying to impress his female friends at the bar with drinking stories. Arrogant attitude. When paying, the other student turned her back on me while I was paying. My ‘thank you, see you’ remained unanswered. Stay away from this place.
k	karen savage on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty restaurant that we have walked past and wanted to try. Overall it was good, not great. The service wasn’t the best. Friendly and helpful when they came by, but that was too infrequent. Things took longer than they should have, and there were only three or four tables of guests. I like the menu choices and the prices are reasonable. You can do ala carts or two courses (app and entree or entree and dessert) or three courses. The scallops with chorizo were quite tasty and cooked nicely. The ravioli sounded better than it was and the dish was lukewarm. ☹️ The dessert we had was good (a chocolate salted caramel cake I think). We stopped by the bar version next door and loved the music!

The food is always very delicous and not too expensive. We loved the chocolate cake with spekulatius ice cream! They have friendly staff. One point this time I didn‘t like was that because they left the big windows open it was very cold.
