★ ★ ★ ★ ★ VanPlanten has a selection of original tasteful dishes. Some of which combined are surprisingly delicious. They have a nice menu for kids as well (which amongst other things contains tasteful fries) and a nice variety of good vegan cakes.
As we have 2 kids and don’t want to give them fries only for dinner, it was easy to combine one kids menu with other original finger food.
Staff is very friendly and helpful!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The restaurant did not note down our reservation that we made through a website. Instead of apologizing, they just lied to us. They claim (without any evidence) that we were the last reservation and they reserved a table inside. there was NO reservation inside and the waitress knew nothing. Some decency does not harm.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ate here with my sister. We both had the bieten kroketten and flamkuchen wich were great. I had the grilled aubergine with a caramel sauce, very tasty and original! The cake was also delicious.

You can go all healthy with their awesome soups and salads or you can top your dinner off with one of their scrumptious desserts. Their vegan cheesecake is even better than a regular one: more fluffy, more creamy. Their homemade icecream is mysteriously delicious. The quality of the food is consistent, I've eaten there 5 times now. The entourage is comforting and the staff is very sweet, attentive and authentic. Don't forget to try their homemade gingercello!
