★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went there for Sunday brunch after reading some positive reviews here. I left feeling quite disappointed. The menu looked good with a varied selection of teas and coffees. The breakfast, lunch and drinks items looked good too, albeit pricey - €7 for a glass of cava(!). I ordered the Poke Bowl but 30 minutes later (!!), the friendly waitress returned to apologize and say that it wasn't available as the kitchen had run out of rice. I thought that was quite bizarre as: 1. did it have to take so long to tell me that?; and 2. there are two supermarkets within a 50 meter radius (a kitchen staff could've bought the rice in a few minutes). I ordered the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. The food arrived almost an hour after I first sat down and was (thankfully) good; tasty salmon and eggs in a decent portion. The food and service were good overall but I have my doubts about the value for money factor.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was so fast that I couldn't catch the carrot cake before eating. One of the best carrot cake I have ever eat, surrounded by finest Belgium white chocolate. Their latte machiato is also very good.
Besides tastes, inside is really good for working and chilling. Perfect hiding spot!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s a really nice coffee chain unfortunately this location is bad due to their staff - we sat outside, waited 10mins for someone to come, then went inside to ask if we can order and told by the waiter to wait for her to come out. 15 mins later we left.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Addicted to this place. Hands down the best coffee in Amsterdam. The staff is always super friendly and well versed in how to put together the perfect espresso + milk alternatives, whereas other cafes often mess up the new age dairies. Just wish they'd offer 0% milk and I'd be here even more often!

Dropped by for breakfast before leaving Amsterdam to go back home. As someone who lives in Germany, I can't help but grin at places here with "cards only" signs, and hope it can somehow gain traction back home.
I looked at the menu online before coming, since I was worried about my flight time, and ordered my vascobelo breakfast pretty much as soon as I sat down. It was pretty good, but the highlights for me were the jam and the cheese. Coffee and orange juice (fresh) were also pretty nice.
Service was as expected in the Netherlands: smiley and efficient. At 18 euros (for the vascobelo breakfast) , I feel that I got good value for my money here. Very pleasant experience.
