WINGS food & drinks, een modern eetcafé, opende begin juli 2009 haar deuren in de Oude Verkeerstoren te Schiphol-Oost. Het is gevestigd op de begane grond van de oude toren en heeft, naast een gezellig binnen gedeelte met grote bar, een groot buitenterras aan voor- en achterzijde. Het benedengedeelte is voor iedereen open. Hier kan je gemakkelijk even lunchen, zakenrelaties ontmoeten, internetten (gratis WIFI), een avondje borrelen of een hapje eten met bijvoorbeeld je gezin of je collega's.
Belangrijke ingrediënten van het eetcafé zijn kwaliteit, gezelligheid, vriendelijkheid en laagdrempeligheid. Anders gezegd: we serveren met alle plezier onze gasten heerlijk eten en drinken tegen een zeer betaalbare prijs. En dat alles op een historische, sfeervolle locatie in het hartje van Schiphol-Oost.
WINGS is geopend van maandag tot en met vrijdag van 11:00 uur tot 21:00 uur. De keuken is van 11:30 uur tot 20:00 uur geopend. Op zaterdag vanaf 15:30 uur tot 21:00 uur. Keuken tot 20:00 uur. Zondag en feestdagen gaan we op aanvraag open. Voor bijvoorbeeld een (groot) feest of een groepsdiner vanaf 30 personen. De centrale ligging, de goede bereikbaarheid en het voldoende aantal parkeerplaatsen in de buurt (P57 en Blauwe Zone) maken het ook daar prima geschikt voor. De locatie heeft dus, naast horeca, een diversiteit aan mogelijkheden. Zowel voor onze gasten als voor ons zelf!

Good value for money.
Interesting location as it was the former Air traffic control centre for Schiphol Air port.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time visit and dinner at the old control tower at Schiphol East airport. Generous lay out inside and also a groundlevel terras. Enjoyed a nice BBQ chicken with sate saus and beer. Friendly staff. Visited it on a Friday later afternoon.
