β β β β β HORRIBLE, IMPOLITE agency lacking any understanding of proper service where hanging up in the middle of a phone call is considered normal practice. It seems the objective of honest brokering is missing. I can only STRONGLY RECOMMEND TO STAY AWAY from this agency!!! Unfortunately it is impossible to give zero stars.

β β β β β Ridiculous fees and admin costs. If you are a foreign student they will charge you high costs for signing. I recommend speaking to lawyers to claim the money back after you have paid. These rental fees such as "admin" costs are now illegal. Of course they will not give you the key without paying. Pay, and then sue them. They must get the message thats its illegal!

From the years I stayed in the student house, non of the people got their deposit back. Wouldnβt hire from them again nor recommend it.

β β β β β I can't recommend WMM highly enough. None of the negative reviews match my experience at all. The signing-on process went very smoothly, I wasn't charged high fees, communication is fast and always polite, and they are perfectly responsive to any maintenance required (no matter how small).

β β β β β the worst agency there is. first made me pay a huge amount of money for "agency fees" when signing the contract. I was told the fee was necessary so in case i needed help in the future the agency would be available to assist me. In the contract, it then stated that the agency fees were for "the time the agents spent looking for an accommodation for me"- mind you, i had a friend who previously lived in the room and i simply took over the contract. Every time i called I was simply told "sorry, the agency was only responsible for signing the contract". To this day, I never got to know the landlord and the only way of communicating with him is an agency that does not want to help. I do not recommend at all.

β β β β β I rented a room through this agency in August 2017. I paid the 35β¬ fee to register on their website and then another fee when I signed the contract. I never asked to see the room beforehand because I was living abroad. Since the agency had such low ratings, I asked to be contacted by one of the current renters (and future flatmate) before signing, because I wanted to know if the current renters felt scammed by the agency. Instead of giving my contact details to the renters, the agency gave me the name and email address of one of them. Coming from Germany, I found it very weird they would hand out private data to strangers (me) over email, but was happy I could contact the current renters, who said they were very happy with the agency. I assumed the Netherlands isn't too strict about privacy.
When I moved into the flat, I found that previous renters had left it pretty dirty and that the basement was full of things left there by generations of students. I contacted the agency and they offered to send a cleaning person. The landlord came and emptied the basement. From that point on, we contacted the landlord directly whenever we had problems.
A second issue was that I initially expected the room to be furnished due to the pictures on the agency's website. It was just upon carefully reading the contract that I realized the room was going to be empty.
I got my deposit back without issues after the end of my stay.

β β β β β I would definitely recommend this agency! Communication is easy, they answer emails in less than 10 minutes, I got my deposit back and was even let to end the contract without an early notice. There were no administration fees like some people say, only a service package that is paid once.

β β β β β I am staying in this place as a tenant since August 2020 , but as the previous tenants left they decided to renew my contract again on January 1st 2021 when the new tenants joined in. Previously I signed for a year but they trick you to sign another contract βsaying your contract will be terminated if you donβt sign it within 24 hoursβ. There are three rooms in the building apparently called an βAPARTMENTβ and all three tenants are under one contract.
I am trying to leave since awhile but they give me no chance to, and tells me according to the contract I need to pay the remaining months rent if I decide to leave. Unbelievable! The agency also charges a whopping amount to sign the contract which is illegal.
