I agree with most of the other 1 star ratings. This page is more of a scam than a real estate agent! I called the office to ask about an offering, and was told I had to sign up and pay the 50€ to arrange the viewing. When I had paid, the appointments were no longer available. Following that, no one responded to my emails. Very disappointing, do not use this website!

No consideration for tenants, really bad and arrogant attitude. They only consider neighbours as important. I would never recommend this agency which will not give any support for their clients. I urge you not to book with them. Very unproffessional, selfish and intidimating.

I responded on their ad on Kamernet and then discovered that this company scams students. Also the good reviews here are from their staff. Take this review from Vincent Schmitz: (Translated by Google Translator) "Top! There is a wide range of student rooms available, which was especially nice for me as I actually started the room search much too late. Where at other sites I never had success with viewings in a house, I was able to view several rooms in one day through this company. I found something new within a day! This makes finding rooms a lot easier than all those viewing evenings where you have to sell yourself." According to Vincent Schmitz's LinkedIn profile he was real-estate agent at Maasland relocation 2017. So he wrote the review while working as a real-estate agent there. I would not trust this company!!

Worst agency ever!!! They are gonna rip you off, trick you into paying hundreds of euros for "damages" that aren't there and if you ever have any problems they are the last ones to help and are just gonna ignore it It wouldn't recommed the agency to my biggest enemy

Unfortunately, I read the reviews about this company after my son, a first-year foreign student, paid the 50 € of his savings. MR are only interested in you paying, they do not take care of the client who is looking for a flat (if he is a student), nor do they care about his need. In a month, my son asked to see 6 properties and they only showed him one! (a digital viewing); of course, he did not get the flat. Besides, they did not send him offers, and of some interesting ones he could no longer make a viewing because they were "full" (really?) or because they did not show them until he would had 8 clients (really?) His package policy, in addition to the 50€, is shameful. I do understand that there are owners who do not want to rent students; what bothers me is the lack of honesty of Maasland, who do not tell you this to get his profit and seems to have some β€œtricks” to avoid doing their job. Well, it is an apprenticeship: I explain to my sons and my students that there are people who only seek to take advantage of the needs of others.

Maasland Extortion. They advertise their horrible products on free websites but then ask you for a 50€ registration fee to get a CHANCE to VIEW the object. Highly unprofessional.

The 50 euro registration fee requirement is truly quite a scam. In order to even ask about the possibility of a viewing, the agency demands that such a fee is paid, only for you to find out afterwards that the place is about to be lent to someone else anyway. The apartments are listed for a long time just to attract desperate apartment-hunters. No service is provided on behalf of Maasland to help throughout the process. Although Maastricht agencies are known for scamming students in a skillful way, this one truly sets the bar, in the worst meaning of the proverb possible. Would not recommend, unless you feel like wasting 50 euros and your time.

Be very careful, Make pictures of everything when you move in a place from them. Everything !! When i moved out after a few years I suddenly had to make sure all the walls were the same color (one was not white in the bedroom when i moved in), no holes in the wall (there were 20 holes when i moved in). I asked them about pictures before I moved in (there were not any), suddenly after i moved out there was a report of 30-40 pictures. Long story short, They try to extort money from you and keep your deposit, then they do nothing before the new tenant moves in and when he/she leaves they do the same thing. These guys are predators which use the tight housing market as a way to extort as much money from students as they can. Be super careful, they promise to fix things for months even years and suddenly when you move out you have to pay for it.
