Got worse: they sacked the cashiers and put a huge horrible self-checkout. Absolute horror.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Literally the worst grocery store ever! Do not go here! They do NOT accept Visa or MasterCard. Ended up having to use their ATM (with high fees) just to pay for my groceries. Who the heck doesn't accept Visa or MasterCard?! ? NEVER going here again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wanted to leave this review last year but I didn't get a chance. So I'm unaware of how the store stands from today. The staff were extremely great. Food prices are quite high that's very true. But overall a great little supermarket for that area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perfectly adequate small supermarket for the size of the neighbourhood. Good selection of fresh produce and relatively quiet. Like most shops in Netherlands they do not accept anything other than cash or Maestro card payments - something travellers should be made aware of more freely otherwise you can be caught out when paying.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible experience at the tobacco counter! Just 30 minutes ago, I went in to purchase some tobacco and when a mix up occured at the counter, the store employee called me annoying instead of trying to ameliorate the issue. I will be going to dirk from now on!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small AH but perfect for a quick grab of lunch during work. Sadly the place can be a nightmare during lunch hours because a lot of disrespectful and rude children also go here for a quick lunch grab during school hours. Can easily be ignored unless you're having a particularly bad day then I suggest going to the Hergo down the street. You won't catch a kid buying a €7 broodje there haha.
